Clinical Rationale
Years of walking on the lateral border had produced repetitive stress fractures and daily painkiller dependence. The triple-wedge correction was planned and rehearsed on a printed model of her own bone, cutting operative time and removing guesswork.

Surgical Approach
A 3D-printed bone model was used to plan and rehearse a triple-wedge correction before surgery. The surgical rehearsal on the model reduced operative time and allowed a seamless, pre-planned correction of the deformity.

A severe foot deformity causing repetitive stress fractures and two years of daily painkillers, corrected with a triple-wedge osteotomy rehearsed on a 3D-printed bone model.
A 41-year-old woman had a severe right-foot deformity that forced her to walk on the lateral border. Repeated stress fractures and persistent pain had made daily painkillers part of her routine. The degree of distortion meant that several corrections had to work together for the foot to become plantigrade.
